HopeChristmas is a missions initiative that will give families from the Central Campus neighborhood an opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts at drastically reduced prices. We believe there is dignity in families purchasing gifts themselves. And, we pray for any doors to be opened to share the hope of Jesus through this project.

Our goal is to give people a hand up and not a handout. For this reason, we sell each item at an 90% discount off the original retail price. We believe this will serve our community by empowering some of our neighbors with a sense of dignity and the ability to provide for themselves.

We invite all Highview members to participate by donating gifts. Purchase a popular, appropriate gift for the price range and gender you choose. Bring the gift to your campus by Sunday, November 24. We also need volunteers to help set up the store and serve during the store hours in a variety of roles (personal shopper, hospitality volunteer, setup crew member, wrapping station helper, store runner, directional assistant). To volunteer, click "Register Now" on the left by Sunday, December 1.

Ultimately, we hope to share the love of Christ. It is a blessing to share Christmas presents with families in need, but we are more excited about sharing the gift of salvation through Jesus. Hope and dignity are ultimately rooted in Him and His work on the cross. We hope this project will open the door for many gospel-centered conversations.
